VICE, our favorite source for edgy and downright weird art, opened their 2012 Photo Show last night to much fanfare from the Williamsburg crowd.  The crowd seemed to be gathering before the doors even opened to the public, and they just kept coming.  The show was a compendium of the best of the strange: diptychs of dolls and people dressed up like them by Annie Collinge, child brides and grooms by Kevin Kunishi, a black guy and a white guy who change skin color thanks to photoshop by Mike de Leon, and a self portrait as Yoda by Jaimie Warren.  Here are our photos from the opening.

Hurry over to Black & White Gallery because the show ends on August 12th.  Check out The Photo Issue 2012 or pick up a copy in print.  Read more about Maurizio Cattelan’s takeover of VICE and the infamous dildo stickers.
