Untapped Cities founder Michelle Young is one of the co-head leaders of 2013 New York City Dîner en Blanc, a pop-up flash mob dinner in white, which returns this Wednesday to a fabulous still undisclosed public place. While we can’t unveil any details yet (as secrecy is the key to the 25 year-old event from Paris), we’d like to re-share the timelapse video we made of the event last year at Lincoln Center. The entrance to the location is always carefully coordinated, and this video shows exactly that. Stay tuned and follow us on Instagram and Twitter to keep tabs on the dinner as it unfolds!

For those new to the game: This year 4,000 people will suddenly descend onto a public place with their chairs, tables, food, and friends, all dressed in white. Due to New York City alcohol rules, wine is purchased online beforehand and picked up at the event, but the party will go strong from 6pm to 10pm. Then at 10pm, as magically as it started, everyone will empty the place, leaving it as they found it.
