Untapped New York is excited to announce an exclusive contest to win a tasting session with Singapore Takeout and Chefs Malcolm Lee and Dominique Ansel.  Dominique Ansel was the executive pastry chef at Daniel, Daniel Boulud’s flagship French restaurant and previously at the venerable French bakery, Fauchon. He is the chef and owner of Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City, which is scheduled to open this fall. Malcolm Lee is the chef-owner of the critically acclaimed Candlenut Kitchen in Singapore. He will also be preparing dishes during the 2-day event with  Anthony Ricco, chef de cuisine at Spice Market and Ed Cotton, finalist on Top Chef Season 7’s Finale filmed in Singapore

The Singapore Takeout is a traveling pop-up kitchen on a global tour. In Paris this past July, Untapped partnered with Singapore Takeout to bring an acclaimed 5-course dinner by New York Times acclaimed chef, Andre Chiang to Untapped readers.  For two days only, Singapore Takeout’s shipping container will transform into a pop-up restaurant at a secret location in Manhattan, which will be revealed shortly. The sleek pop-up restaurant has been shipped from Singapore and is traveling to nine cities around the world to promote Singapore’s exciting and dynamic food culture.

The Untapped New York/Singapore Takeout tasting event will take place on Saturday September 17th, 12pm to 1pm. There are a limited number of spots. All winners will also receive a special gift bag from French tea company, Le Palais des Thes.
