Woolworth Building-Lobby-Interior-Irving National Bank-Vault-Cass Gilbert-NYC

Our Untapped Cities Woolworth Building Tour has been so popular, we know offer it monthly. In November, we took readers down to the vault of the bank and the former entrances to the NYC subway system. In January, we went down into the bowels of the building to see the infamous pool, the water tank and more, as seen in our Top 10 Secrets of the Woolworth Building.
VIP Tour of the Woolworth Building

This intimate, hour-long tour that takes readers to the normally off-limits Woolworth Building is led by Helen Post Curry, the great grand-daughter of architect Cass Gilbert. In addition to a guided visit through the spectacular lobby, we will also see the basement level where the bank vault is located. Other locations, as seen on previous Untapped Cities tours, will be dependent on building access on the particular day.

Untapped Cities works directly with the tour guides to provide additional access not necessarily available on regular tours of the building. Following the tour, we will lead guests to an optional cocktail hour at the historic Fraunces Tavern where you can meet and chat with Untapped Cities contributors and fellow attendees.
