This 71-story skyscraper, identifiable by its green pyramidal roof, was very briefly the tallest building in the world. It held the title from April 1930 to May 1930, until the Chrysler Building surpassed it in height. In 1995, Trump purchased the classic Art Deco property, which once served as the headquarters of the Bank of Manhattan, and renamed it The Trump Building. It is now used as a commercial office building.
