On Saturday, June 24th, Prospect Park is hosting its annual soiree, an impromptu dinner and dance party for 4,000 people. The Prospect Park Soiree will take place at the Peninsula inside the park and this year’s event is particularly special, as it coincides with the 150th Anniversary of the park. The Prospect Park Alliance will provide bare tables and chairs, and attendees make it the party — bringing their best table decor, delicious feast and festive attire — including show-stopping hats and headpieces. Tickets went on sale today at noon and the organization expects that tickets will sell out quickly.
So gather with friends in your most festive attire, prepare a delicious feast, bring your favorite bottle of wine, and dine and dance under the stars in one of Prospect Park’s most secluded locations, the Peninsula.
In preparation, read about the Top 10 Secrets of Prospect Park and discover 10 Lost or Never Built Structures in the park.
