Jeff Koons’ Seated Ballerina installation came down at Rockefeller Center on July 17 but the creative team didn’t waste any time filling the space. On Tuesday, July 18, two artists, JM Rizzi and Jason Woodside, known for their colorful large-format murals, were hard at work and completed three connecting murals surrounding the space where Seated Ballerina stood just the day before.

Woodside’s commissions and collaborations are impressive and include such well-known brands and companies as Adidas, Saatchi & Saatchi, WeWork, Obey Clothing, the 2014 Fabregé Egg Hunt among many others. Rizzi has collaborated with Proenza Schouler, Emilio Pucci, Nike and more, along with a building-size mural at The Pod Hotel in Manhattan.
