The Now – Holiday Special is an outdoor interactive video public art installation that has been extended into the New Year. Stretching seventy-two feet long on the windows of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Times Square, it is the world’s largest interactive public art installation! The installation is comprised of video art, animation, video mapping and interactivity created by talented filmmakers and video artists Laia Cabrera and Isabelle Duverger, with interactivity by NoirFlux and Karan Parikh. The special holiday edition of The Now offers “a journey into magical worlds, intertwining reality and fantasy, opening doors to hidden places and participatory environments, with a holiday Twist.” Visitors who interact with the piece by walking and moving will unravel different storylines. The installation will be up until January 16th.
