Untapped Cities founder Michelle Young and CEO Augustin Pasquet were honored to be guests on “Joanna & Kevin’s Big Show” Podcast, hosted by historian and author Kevin C. Fitzpatrick and Joanna Leban. The show was recently the winner of the Guides Association of New York City (GANYC) Apple Award for Outstanding Achievement in Radio Program or Podcast. We recorded the podcast in an appropriately secret spot, in The Lamb’s Club, which is tucked onto an upper floor of the Women’s National Republican Club just off Fifth Avenue.

Not to be confused with The Lamb’s Club restaurant, the Lamb’s Club is still very much in operation and is the first professional theater organization in America, founded in 1874. We’ll have more to share abut the club in future weeks, but for now, check out the podcast which is the first time we’ve announced the release of the second edition of our book, Secret Brooklyn.

We had a great time chatting with Kevin and Joanna, talking about Untapped Cities tours, the Untapped Cities Insiders club, about New York City in general, and about some fun new places in Secret Brooklyn. Did you know Michelle and Augustin are married? Find out how they met (far, far from a bar in Paris) and why Augustin has adopted New York City as his home. Take a listen on iTunes, it’s the most recent episode!

Kevin has also previously written an article on Untapped Cities based on his book, World War I New York: A Guide to the City’s Enduring Ties to the Great War. Check out 10 Traces of World War I you can still find in NYC.Â
