5. NYPL Bookmobile

This summer The New York Public Library is making it as easy as ever to grab your new beach read. The Bookmobile, a library on wheels, is making its rounds of neighborhoods around New York City this summer delivering the services of the library. The portable book-bearing bus will make its debuted in the Bronx’s High Bridge neighborhood at PS 11. Throughout the summer, the Bookmobile will make its way across the length of the Manhattan, from the Bronx to Staten Island.
The Bookmobile will make special stops at public events, community centers, and community get-togethers all summer long. The bus will be in the Bronx through July 15th. You can see the weekly schedule of stops here!
