Each year some of New York City’s leading architecture firms converge on the Center for Architecture to compete in a live pumpkin carving contest! This year marks the third annual Pumpkitecture! Architectural Pumpkin Carving Competition presented by Archtober. At this Halloween themed event, twenty New York City-based firms create their best gourd structures in hopes of winning the Pritzkerpumpkin Prize. Guests get to witness the live-carving and vote for the People’s Pumpkin. If you are an Untapped Cities Insider, you can attend this event for free! Not a member yet? Become an Insider today to gain free access to behind-the-scenes tours and special events all year long!

Who will squash the competition? Who will summon the Brutal ghost of Marcel Booeuer and invoke the spirit of Michael Gravesyard? Will the Crowned Curibita be inspired by Frank-o-Lloyd Wright’s Guggengourd? See for yourself at Pumpkitecture! Festive food and beverages included.
