We have one ticket available for the tour and tasting at Farm.One, a hydroponic underground farm in Tribeca at 7:45 PM. On this sensory experience unlike any other in New York, you will sip a complimentary glass of Prosecco and taste new, unique flavors from around the world. Farm.One uses LED lighting, hydroponics, and technology to grow a huge variety of culinary plants, numbering over 600 to date.

On Air Fest returns this year and runs through the weekend, showcasing the voices and new ideas that are pushing the boundaries of storytelling, podcasting, sound art, and audio culture. This year’s highlight is The Con, an immersive crime noir story that will unfold throughout The Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s anoriginal, interactive audio crime story in four acts that will take festival-goers from the hotel’s Main Hall and Cinema Bar to a stairwell to a private guest suite. Created by Crimetown’s Zac Stuart-Pontier and On Air Fest founder Scott Newman, The Con stars Edgar Oliver, the downtown theater legend and beloved storyteller for The Moth, renowned for his distinctive accent and diction. Sunday, March 8th
At 10 AM, The Friends of the Upper East Side are hosting the event, A Room of One’s Own: A Social and Architectural History of Women’s Institutions on the Upper East Side. Our free tickets for Insiders are sold out but you can still buy tickets from Friends of the UES!

Also at 2 PM, you can also discover the work of a prolific public art sculptor in New York City on a walking tour led by the curators of the Cooper Union exhibit, Nivola in New York I Figure in Field. Tickets are free for Untapped New York Insiders.
The Queens Museum will be hosting the event After Rikers: Mic Check on Criminal Justice Reform A Panel Discussion and Open Mic with Free Verse. Taking place in conjunction with the Community Partnership exhibition My Word(s) – These are the tools I trust, this panel discussion and open mic is a moment to learn about the implications of the criminal justice reform legislation, including bail and discovery reform, which took effect January 1st, 2020. In recognition of International Women’s Day, After Rikers: Mic Check on Criminal Justice Reform will focus specifically on the voices of women.

Thursday, March 12th
TTYL is throwing an #TBT pop-up party and going back to the 90s for one night only. The catch? You can’t go back to the 90s with your phone. As with all TTYL events, you check your phone at the door and get to enjoy the night just like you did in the 90s, tech-free. We’re bringing back all the best games, activities, and songs from the 90s–expect a rad dance party, epic fun, and totally tubular prizes.
The Merchants House Museum will launch the series A Tribute to the Tredwells’ Irish Servants, honoring the workers that served the family in the historic house. At 6 PM, join Tredwell servant Bridget Murphy in the kitchen for, what else, green beer.
Then take a “back-stairs” tour and experience what daily life was really like for the Irish servants through their eyes. You’ll visit four floors of period rooms, from the ground floor kitchen to the 4th floor servants’ quarters, where they lived and did some of their work.
The Morris Jumel Mansion will host the talk Two Elizas in Old New York (1875): Eliza Greatorex Picturing Eliza Jumel’s Mansion with Professor Katherine Manthorne. In 1869 Eliza Pratt Greatorex was America’s most famous woman artist; 150 years later she is all but forgotten. Recently arrived from Ireland, she quickly found a place working side-by-side with painters of the Hudson River School, who elected her the only female member of their prestigious National Academy of Design. This illustrated presentation focuses on her magnificent folio volume Old New York: From the Battery to Bloomingdale (1875) which includes pictures of the residence and grounds.
