We have a YouTube channel! We haven’t talked about it much but we have videos there going back nine years. Among the highlights: a look at Dead Horse Bay in Brooklyn, exploring the then-abandoned Domino Sugar Factory, a ride on the Nostalgia Train narrated by the voice of the subway, the subway beneath the U.S. Capitol, and much more. Our most watched video ever has been the floating rail line between Brooklyn and New Jersey.

We also have partnered for many years with PBS, offering exclusive advance clips of documentaries from American Experience, like the “Rise and Fall of Penn Station,” “The Forgotten Plague” and more. In recent times, we’ve been creating short videos like the 7 AM Clap Because We Care, the final run of the R-42 train, a look at Roosevelt Island’s amazing contactless trash system, and a look inside the Fulton Fish Market.

We have more videos coming (and if you are an Untapped New York Insider, you get access to our archive of virtual talks and tours which are unlisted on YouTube). We’ve set a goal of getting to 1,000 followers in the next month. Can you help us? Follow us on YouTube or directly using the button below!
