One of our favorite hidden spots in Grand Central is the Vanderbilt Tennis Club, its existence often surprises even longtime New Yorkers. It’s also a highlight stop on our Secrets of Grand Central Terminal tour. But getting to play on the Grand Central tennis courts is another level up, as hourly pricing can be upwards of $300 and hour (although if you play after midnight, it drops to $80!). Until tomorrow, you can enter to win an hour of tennis with a guest at the Vanderbilt Tennis Club along with $300 worth of gift cards from Grand Central’s shops, including Apple, L’Occitane, Swatch, Banana Republic, Magnolia Bakery, and Café Grumpy.

To enter, submit an entry on Grand Central’s lifestyle Instagram @love.gct, or Facebook page, by posting a comment on the contest post describing why you’d like to win and tag a friend they’d like to play with. You must also follow @GrandCentralTerminal and @VanderbiltTennisClub on Facebook, and @love.gct on Instagram in order to qualify. A winner will be chosen at random and notified on Sunday, September 13 on Instagram or Facebook direct message, depending on the entry platform.

The Vanderbilt Tennis Club also holds layers of Grand Central history. It was previously owned by Donald Trump, home to an indoor ski slope before that, and at different points in time a CBS television studio and  an art gallery. Today, there’s one regulation-size court with U.S. Open “Deco Turf,” a junior court, practice lanes, and fitness facilities.
