HBO’s hit series Succession films in some of the most luxurious and exclusive locations around New York City. Now, one of those filming locations is up for sale. For a cool $29 million, you can live like a Roy inside a luxury Upper East Side condo. This unit at 180 East 88th Street was used as the home of Kendall Roy on Succession, played by Jeremy Strong, in the latest episode of the series.
The 5,508-square-foot penthouse features 5 bedrooms, multiple outdoor spaces, a private elevator to get to all three floors and an exclusive rooftop outdoor space with stunning views of Central Park and the New York City skyline. In the opening scenes of the newest Succession episode, we see Kendall sitting against one of the multiple fireplaces in the living room, gazing out at the view through the arched floor-to-ceiling windows and terraces outside.
The triplex condo owned by Kendall Roy in Succession is the tallest residence north of 72nd Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. It’s located just a few blocks away from the Guggenheim Museum. The building is a new development from Joe McMillan’s DDG.
Mansions of Fifth Avenue Tour
In the series, which follows the ultra-rich Roy family as they navigate the conflicts of running a media empire, the characters occupy a variety of opulent addresses throughout the city. In previous episodes, Kendall has lived in a penthouse at the Woolworth Building and on the 90th floor of 35 Hudson Yards. Patriarch Logan Roy and his wife Marcia live in a townhouse on Fifth Avenue (though the lobby of the townhouse is filmed in the American Irish Historical Society at 991 Fifth Avenue and the apartment is on a soundstage at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City).
