The aromas of cuisines from all over the world will fill the air above Industry City this weekend as the Brooklyn Night Market celebrates the opening of the 2023 season. Every last Monday of the month, the market showcases dozens of small businesses and local artists from all over New York City. You can get a taste of the Brooklyn Night Market on an upcoming tour with Untapped New York Insiders!
Brooklyn Night Market Tasting Tour
On this tasting tour, taking place on June 26th, you’ll be guided to various vendors where you can meet the proprietors and sample their delicious offerings. This tasting tour is $10 for Untapped New York Insiders and includes food samples. Not an Insider yet? Become a member today and get your first month free with code JOINUS. This summer, Insiders will visit the Uptown Night Market and Bronx Night Market too!
The Brooklyn Night Market highlights female, POC, immigrant, and LGBTQIA-owned and operated micro-businesses, which make up more than 70% of the micro-businesses in the MHG network – the hospitality group that produces these events. More than 60 different vendors will bring their goods to the market each night. As you walk along the tents and booths, you’ll be drawn to yummy bites from Perros Locos, Tacos El Guero, Downeast Lobstah, Sassy’s Fishcakes!, HangryDog, Brooklyn Dim Sum Co, Pinche vegana, and many more.
In addition to the mouthwatering food options, the market will also feature live music and family-friendly activities. On opening night this Memorial Day Weekend, musical artists Rico Jones, City Love, and the resident Monday night DJ, DJ Cosi, will perform. For Pride Month in June, the market will debut an outdoor Art Exhibit by artist XYZ.
The Brooklyn Night Market takes over Industry City every last Monday from May to October from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. In addition to eating your way through Brooklyn, you can join Untapped New York Insiders for tours of the Uptown Night Market (just a few spots left!) and Bronx Night Market this summer!
