Taylor Swift outfits have been everywhere this summer as the Grammy-winning singer swept the nation with her Eras Tour and attendees dressed up in her iconic looks. Though Swift is set to embark on the international leg of her tour soon, a part of her remains in New York City. At a new exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Design, Taylor Swift: Storyteller, you can see some of the most iconic Taylor Swift outfits the singer has worn on stage, in her music videos, and on the red carpet. Untapped New York Insiders can get an even closer look on a guided tour of the exhibit on August 15th and 16th!

Taylor Swift: Storyteller Tour

Coinciding with the theme of the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift: Storyteller complements different eras of the star’s career thus far. Swift has always been outspoken about the roles of women in the music industry and has used her costumes to personify many of the emotions her fans relate to. This emotional connection, along with the often dramatic and bedazzled designs, is what makes Taylor Swift’s outfits so notable.

MAD will display some of the singer’s most memorable ensembles from past music videos for their exhibit such as the cheerleader and ballerina costumes from her 2014 “Shake It Off” music video, the red wedding dress from “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)” and the dramatic rhinestone set from “Bejeweled.”

To complete the experience, MAD will also display props from some of the most iconic scenes and looks, project clips from Taylor Swift’s music videos, and host a few karaoke events for fans to sing along to Swift’s music. There will even be Taylor Swift-related merchandise and apparel available for purchase. The exhibit, Taylor Swift: Storyteller, is open at MAD now through September 4, 2023.
