Jean Dubuffet’s modernist sculpture at Fosun Plaza (formerly One Chase Manhattan Plaza) in the Financial District will have some company this weekend. On Saturday, October 14th, the plaza at 28 Liberty Street will transform into a showcase of rare vintage and luxury collector cars. This event is free and open to the public and will feature everything from Ferraris and Lamborghinis to Mercedes G Wagons and Range Rovers!
Up to 70 sports and collector cars, including supercars, vintage European and American vehicles, and other spectacular automobiles will be on display. Some of the vehicles on display include a 1972 Ferrari Dino, Aston Martins Vantages and Vanquishes, the 1968 Jaguar Eagle Low Drag Coupe, and a 1981 Lancia 037. Saturday’s event is hosted by CarPark, a company specializing in public meetups for New York City car enthusiasts, which has hosted this annual event since 2021.
Food and beverages will be available from Manhattan and Alamo Drafthouse and Alamo will also screen an auto-themed movie in the lobby of 28 Liberty. You can even get behind the wheel! Polestar will have its latest electric vehicle model on-site for attendees to test drive. Visitors can also take a moment to relax in Paddock NYC’s lounge space or enjoy a live performance from The Shag Horns’ brass party band. The event will run from from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
