Gustav Klimt, Gold in Motion brings Klimt’s colorful 19th and early 20th-century paintings to life in six distinct sequences. Projected onto the historic architecture of the Emigrant Bank, mesmerizing visuals are paired with a moving musical soundtrack. Guests will see iconic works such as The Kiss (1907-08) and the portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (1907) magnified on a larger-than-life scale. Small, intricate details and brush strokes explode onto the walls and floor giving viewers an entirely new perspective on Klimt’s work.

Emigrant Bank was designed by Paris-trained architect Raymond F. Almirall and constructed between 109 and 1912. The impressive hall, which now houses Manhattan’s largest permanent center for custom-curated immersive experiences., was occupied by the bank until 1969. Stained-glass windows, white marble, and limestone walls from Italy give the space an impressive ambiance and make it the perfect setting for showcasing the sumptuous works of Gustav Klimt.
