An Almanac for New York 2023 Talk

Johnson is a museum consultant, editor, and content developer with expertise in New York City. She managed numerous major exhibitions and publications for the Museum of the City of New York and served as project director of its institution-defining permanent exhibition, New York at Its Core. Johnson holds a master’s degree from New York University’s John W. Draper Interdisciplinary Program in Humanities and Social Thought.

While doing research for the Almanac — which is packed with day-by-day listings for concerts and museum exhibitions, foodie and literary happenings, sporting events, celestial phenomena, and more around the five boroughs — Susan uncovered events to appeal to a vast range of interests. She also dug up historical tidbits that offer a unique perspective on the city over the years. Susan will share essential information to help attendees curate their own New York experience whether their preference is for high-profile or off-the-beaten-path events, indoors or outdoors.
