John Lazzaro is an author, photographer, and documentary filmmaker based in Long Island, NY. His main focus is capturing the remains of abandoned buildings and vanishing architecture throughout the US. His latest photography book, "A Vanishing New York," explores the last remaining abandoned sites in the Empire State. Outside of photography, John enjoys reading, running, and playing Magic the Gathering.
