The menu features an extensive list of both sweet and savory signature bowls, with concoctions like The Elvis (peanut butter, banana, bacon, honey, sea salt) and The Canadian (cinnamon roasted apples, sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, maple syrup, sea salt). Better yet, if none of their creations sound enticing, feel free to build your own hot oatmeal bowl and shower it with any combination of their 80 toppings. Since it’s too cold out for frozen yogurt, OatMeals is the perfect winter substitution for a topping-filled treat!

The oatmeal-themed decor is endearing and quaint, as are the bowl sizes scrawled upon their chalkboard menu: “baby bear,” “mama bear,” and “papa bear.” Vintage oatmeal containers line the shelves—a quiet tribute to the history of such an old-fashioned breakfast item.

Actually, oatmeal is not just a breakfast food at OatMeals (as the plurality of the name suggests), and the café is open daily until 5pm. They also sell assorted oatmeal pastries, baked in-house each morning, and brew Porto Rico Importing Co. coffee and tea. The Village may be littered with great tea rooms, but none of them offer such an impressive display of oatmeal!

Check out more stores that only sell one thing, including Peanut Butter & Co. and Potatopia.
