Help save the whales and enjoy a musical show inside a stunning New York City theater! In early 2024, the Brooklyn Paramount welcomed performers to the stage for the first time in over sixty years. This winter, the 1920s venue will host Nantucket Crisps' annual Whale Jam, a music-filled fundraiser for the Whale & Dolphin Conservation. Whale Jam comes to New York City for the first time on Thursday, December 12th. The evening will feature an exciting line-up of musicians including Matt Quinn (Mt. Joy), Ela Melo (Rainbow Kitten Surprise), Bear Rinehart (Needtobreathe), Sameer (Young the Giant), Clyde & Grace (Lawrence), Yoke Lore, and Brandon (Red Clay Strays).

Whale Jam isn't just a great show in an amazing venue, it's all for a good cause. Since its inception in 2022, Whale Jam's mission has been to raise awareness for the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale. So far over $75,000 has been raised for the nonprofit Whale & Dolphin Conservation during concerts in Boston and on Nantucket.

The venue for the show is the historic Brooklyn Paramount which opened for performances in March 2024 after a five-year, multi-million dollar renovation. Originally a movie and vaudeville house, the theater hosted legends such as Buddy Holly, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles. In the 1960s, it was acquired by Long Island University and used as a basketball court for more than fifty years! Now, the space has been restored to its entertainment roots an transformed into a 2,700-capacity venue.
