How to Make a Subway Map with John Tauranac
Hear from an author and map designer who has been creating maps of the NYC subway, officially and unofficially, for over forty years!
Potatopia will “change the way you think about potatoes.” Located on 6th Avenue right by Waverly Place, every dish at this chipotle-style restaurant is centered entirely around potatoes. But Potatopia is all about options – you could choose your dish à la carte, or, you could build your own potato fantasy dish with their long list of add ons. This casual eatery is perfect for lunch or dinner. It’s also a treasure among those who have dietary restrictions, for potatoes are gluten free and vegan!
Pictured above is their most popular dish, the “Smashed Hit.” This consists of “smashed” potato, two types of cheese, onions, garlic, and cilantro. We know your mouth is watering just from reading that. Other savory dishes we enjoyed included “Curly Sue” (curly fries with cheese, garlic, chipotle ketchup, and garlic aioli), and “I Think Therefore I Yam” (crinkle cut fries, cheese, and sauce aioli).
