Join our first live virtual talk with Untapped New York's Artist in Residence Aaron Asis! You may recognize his work recently on Untapped New York, as he has been documenting the surreal streetscapes of New York City during this pandemic. Aaron was born and raised in New York City, discovering its neighborhoods, its people, and its streets. As an artist, his work explores creative ways to promote access & awareness of under-appreciated environments throughout our cities. Aaron's interactive talk will focus on the importance public access, historic awareness, and the ways that art can impact the environment around us. Aaron will share colorful stories about the origins of his creative practice, his photos of New York during coronavirus, and reveal the motivations and inspirations behind a few of his favorite site-specific art projects in New York City.

This live talk is organized exclusively for Untapped New York's Insiders and will be broadcasted via Zoom. Insiders will have the ability to ask questions to Aaron during the talk.
