Explore overlooked city sights on one of our expert-led NYC walking tours!
A new exhibition exploring the urban facets of Paris by Night just opened at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal and will host events leading up to La Nuit Blanche in October. Paris la Nuit is the culmination of two years of research by philosopher and urbanist Marc Armenagaud. The exhibit exposes the many forms of nocturnal life in the City of Light, from aristocratic evenings to raves, from maintenance agents of the métro to the people who light the street lamps, from drugstores to cinemas and beyond.
This is your chance to go on a nocturnal tour of the métro’s tunnels with RATP after the trains stop running and visit the Marché International de Rungis. Taste street food at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal, including empanadas by Clasico Argentino, four kinds of mozzarella by Mozza & Co, and small bites by Nautes. Marc Armenagaud will give guided tours of the exhibit and a boat tour along the Seine.
Check out the full program here. The events are free (except street food tastings). Registration is required. Email rsvp@pavillon-arsenal.com with your full name, date you would like to attend and phone number.
