Coffee Tasting Class & Roastery Tour at City Boy Coffee
Sample a diverse selection of coffees sourced from around the globe, then roasted right here in New York City!
This small storefront in Williamsburg houses an eclectic collection of artifacts reflecting everyday life in the city – items often forgotten, discarded, or overlooked. Seltzer bottles, schist core samples, fragments of a vanished art installation, World’s Fair ephemera, and a burnt-out lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty’s torch are just some of the objects in the Museum’s collection. Each item tells an important story of New York’s history and the people who make it the greatest city in the world. On this live-streamed virtual tour of the City Reliquary led by Beth Haines, the Museum’s Assistant Director, you will get a close look at these artifacts, including some that are rarely on view, and hear about how this collection came to be. You’ll also get a glimpse of the current featured exhibit on iconic superhero Wonder Woman and her surprising connections to New York City. The City Reliquary is a fully volunteer-run non-profit organization supported by its Members, who receive complimentary admission to the museum galleries and special events, which include obscure 35mm films, burlesque, illustration showcases, comedy, experimental theater, and more produced by local artists.
