Tour Highlights:
Empire Outlets is New York City’s very first outlet destination. The innovative space, which features 340,000 square feet of retail and dining including an outdoor patio and beer garden, will be decked out in splendid holiday decor just in time for our visit. The tree will even be lit! Insiders will get to see the highlights of this new shopping destination, located within a short walk from the Staten Island ferry, and areas that are not yet opened to the public.
After a tour of the outlets, we will head down the road to the historic St. George Theater. Built in 1929 and recently restored for a re-opening in 2004, the St. George Theater first opened as a movie palace to rival those in Manhattan. Designed with a blend of Spanish and Italian Baroque styles, the theater has since hosted performances by musicians such as Tony Bennet, Pat Benatar, and Ringo Starr, and comedians like Jerry Seinfeld, Joan Rivers and Kevin James.
