Classic Harbor Line tours are conducted on modern vessels inspired by historic yachts and schooners. Built by Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, these ships pair twenty-first-century amenities with classic style. This year, you can sail aboard the luxurious, mahogany-trimmed Yacht Manhattan and Manhattan II, or climb aboard the newly christened Adirondack IV.

The design of the Manhattan yachts drew inspiration from the glamour of the 1920s. Guests sailing on these boats can view the foliage from inside a heated and glass-enclosed observatory. Aboard the Adirondack IV, a brand-new schooner that debuted for the fall 2024 season, riders are in for a more adventurous experience as you cozy up under blankets outside on the open deck. No matter which vessel you choose, you’ll have clear views of the spectacular scenery.

There are multiple foliage cruises to choose from including an afternoon brunch cruise and a narrated cruise hosted by an Urban Naturalist! On the narrated tour, you’ll hear an exciting live narration of the geology and ecology of the Hudson River as you sail up the Palisades. Brunch cruises feature a five-course, family-style meal with treats like pumpkin spice french toast with fresh berries. To help keep you warm on the windy waters, guests on the schooner tours enjoy a complimentary hot cocoa.

Every tour includes one complimentary beverage of beer, wine, Champagne, or a soft drink. Additional beverages are available for purchase. You might want to try a fall-themed cocktail like a Cider Maple Old Fashioned, Smoky Pumpkin Margarita, or Marithyme Espresso Martini. You can also taste ciders from around the world (and a local cider from Brooklyn) by ordering an International Cider Flight with four different samples. Non-alcoholic drink specials include hot cider, pumpkin spice coffee, and a new mocktail: the Apple Ginger Fizz with apple cider, pear nectar, and fresh ginger, finished with a splash of seltzer.
