About this Event:
Join photographer Emon Hassan for an exclusive, after-hours tour of his photography exhibit inside the historic Our Saviour's Atonement Church. The photographs featured are from Hassan's first book, a collection of photography and poetry, called I Dream of the Heights. Hassan will share insights about the photographs on view, revealing the inspiration behind his work and the process of transforming the images into ethereal, dream-like scenes.
Guests will have the chance to purchase an autographed copy of the book on-site!
About Emon Hassan:
Emon Hassan is a filmmaker and photographer based in New York City. A contributor to The New York Times since 2011, his stories, pictures, short films, and audio pieces have been published worldwide.
Along with his first book, I Dream of the Heights, Hassan also publishes a monthly zine, emonome, both under his company Handsome Crow. You can sign up for his twice-a-month email newsletter where he dives deep into the projects he is working on or whatever’s on his mind.
