Untapped New York Insiders is a members-only club giving you free access to NYC’s most off-limits places, free admission to museums and much more… Think of it as your passport to NYC’s secrets!

Here are answers to frequently asked questions:

How do I log in to my account?

You can log in to your account hereBe sure to use the same email account you signed up for your Insiders account with, otherwise your benefits will not appear. The below video will help you log in to your members account and sign up for events:

I am not seeing the button to book events:

If you are logged in correctly with the same email address associated with your Insiders account, the booking button will load a split second after the page loads on any Insider event. You will see the booking button change to Register and then you can click to book your event. If you are not seeing the Register button appear, it means either your are not logged in with the correct email address associated with your Insiders membership, or your membership may have expired.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Of course! You can change or cancel your membership at any time. You can do so by logging into your account and going to your account page.

Can I change my billing information?

Yes, you can do so in your account under manage subscription.

How do I book members-only tours?

Members-only tours have limited capacity and are booked on a first come, first served basis. Registration opens within two weeks of the tour date. The exact date and time when registration opens will be announced in the members-only newsletter. Once registration opens, members must be logged in to Untapped New York in order to book the tour. The “Register” button will only appear if you are logged in to Untapped New York once registration is open. You can check out all our upcoming Insider events here!

What if an event is sold out?

Don’t worry! Members events have limited capacity but we plan on repeating our most popular ones so you will have another opportunity to join us. There are also multiple other members-only events that you can join in each month!

Are there discounts for yearly memberships?

Yes! We offer our members one month free every year when they pay yearly. You can also switch between monthly and yearly plans at any time in your account.

Do I get discounts on Untapped New York’s public tours by being a member?

Yes! As an Insiders, Insiders+ or Explorer level member, you get $5 off tours at Untapped New York using the discount code provided in your signup email. This discount does not apply to tours that are solely operated by our partners (these include the Special Access Tour of the Woolworth Building, the Behind the Scenes Tour of the Tiffany Glass Archives, and others).

Can I send someone to an Insiders tours or event instead of me?

Unlike our public tours, Insiders tours and events are for members-only. Tickets are non transferable and bookings will be verified to ensure guest is a member. Tickets are limited to one per member, unless the member is an Explorer level member and can bring a guest.

What will I receive in the Insiders newsletter?

The Insiders newsletter will be how we communicate with you about new Insiders tours and events. We will also notify you of early bird ticketing for our public tours, and special discounts and offers. If you unsubscribe from the Insiders newsletter, you will not receive advance notice of the Untapped New York Insider tours and events, along with other Insiders-only benefits.

How do you collect payments?

We use Stripe, a secure third party payment processor to collect payment information. The Untapped New York website is also a secure site, which means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted using an SSL certificate.
