Untapped Cities is excited to bring back our behind the scenes tour of the Brooklyn Army Terminal, just for Untapped Cities Insiders. The tour will be led by John Hong, Assistant Vice President in Asset Management at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he is in charge of overseeing the management of the 4 million square foot Brooklyn Army Terminal. The Terminal, which was repurposed as a commercial and industrial complex, is one of New York City’s initiatives to provide affordable manufacturing space for local businesses.

This tour will lead you through the stunning atrium (above, where freight trains once pulled in to directly unload supplies), new raw spaces in Building A, the food manufacturing hub in the annex, an enclosed bridgeway that has lain untouched for 40 years, and a rooftop. In addition, this visit will include stops at some of the manufacturing and art studios inside the Brooklyn Army Terminal. (All locations accessed will be dependent on accessibility on that particular day).

PRICE: FREE for Untapped Cities Insiders!

CAPACITY: 15 guests. Spots allocated on a first come, first served basis.
