Untapped Cities Insiders are invited to take a closer look at The Cooper Union’s new exhibit “Drawing Codes” on a curator led walkthrough with Nader Tehrani, Dean of The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture and the gallery’s curators, Andrew Kudless and Adam Marcus. After the tour, Insiders are welcome to attend a public roundtable and reception. The Drawing Codes exhibit explores how emerging design and production technologies impact the ways in which architects engage with traditional practices of architectural drawing and how rules inform the ways the built environment is documented, analyzed, represented, and designed. The exhibit consists of 24 experimental drawings commissioned for the exhibition by firms such as Aranda\Lasch, Höweler + Yoon, and Outpost Office. This exhibit is the second volume in a series organized by the CCA Digital Craft Lab.
