Go for a stroll on the Coney Island boardwalk with Chief Experience Officer Justin Rivers and visit the Coney Island Brewery for a behind-the-scenes tour and beer tasting!
- Tour the Coney Island Brewery Brew house where you’ll see the tools and machines of the trade including the Grain Mill, Mash Tun, Kettle, Fermentation Tanks, Brite tanks, Walk-in where beer is stored, and the Foeders and Canning line
- Discover what Malt and Hops look like before they are used to brew
- See all the beers Coney Island Brewery has ever canned (by hand!)
About the event:
This tour includes a brief history of the freakishly amazing community in Coney Island, a guided tour of the brew house where you’ll learn about the fascinating process of how beer is made and goes from tank to tap to your pint glass! We finish off with a guided tasting of Coney Island Brewery’s flagship beers. The Coney Island Brewery team will talk you through how to appraise a beer and provide you with the verbiage to describe what your senses are experiencing.
Before the brewery tour, join Untapped New York’s Chief Experience Officer for short walk down down Surf Avenue and the Boardwalk. You’ll unearth old secrets of the many long-gone amusement parks and learn about what’s in store for the hotly contested future development of the island.

The event is sold out?
In-person Insider tours may have limited capacity and are booked on a first come, first served basis.
But don’t worry! Sometimes spots open up closer to the event date if there are cancellations. We also repeat our most popular events when possible so you will have another opportunity to join us. There are also multiple other members-only events weekly that you can join in!
What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel more than 48 hours ahead of the scheduled event, you will receive a 100%. When canceled less than 48 hours before the start of your tour, you will receive a gift card that can be used on any future events. Please be courteous to your fellow Insiders and let us know if you can no longer attend so we can offer your spot to another person.
