About the event:

Join the Newtown Creek Alliance for an in-depth tour of Kingsland Wildflowers at Broadway Stages, a 24,000 square foot green roof in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Situated on top of an active tv/film studio, next to the City’s most modern wastewater treatment plant, and alongside the City’s largest Superfund site, Kingsland Wildflowers offers a positive juxtaposition to the surrounding infrastructure and an example of how to successfully incorporate ecological habitat and community access into heavy industrial areas.
