The Waterfront Conference has grown into the region’s premier forum for dialogue and discourse about our shared waterfront. The event draws more than 600 participants, including policymakers, waterfront advocates, journalists, academics, as well as engineering, architecture, and nonprofit professionals. Each conference focuses on a different theme, with common threads including the working waterfront, waterfront access, climate change, resiliency, and governance.

Over the course of three days, explore the theme of “Confronting Unprecedented Challenges and Opportunities.” New York City is at a crossroads of change and the Conference will explore how we can look back and learn from the experiences of 2020 while blazing new paths for the future.
