Abandoned for decades, this former Con Edison power plant in Yonkers will soon get a transformative new life as a global home for climate solutions. “The Plant” will create a unique architectural fusion of meticulous historical preservation and 21st century cutting edge sustainable design and innovation. It will be a model project for historic adaptive reuse with an integrated regenerative systems approach.
Housed in two historic properties, The Plant is where the most innovative minds will come together under one roof to incubate new ideas, accelerate new initiatives, and address the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.
