Party like it’s 1789! Commemorate George Washington’s inauguration and the country’s first capital inside Federal Hall, the site of where it all happened, with historic food, drink and period entertainment. The evening features The Hearts of Oak Independent Militia Company (of which Alexander Hamilton was Captain), The Ministers of Apollo and minuet and country dances (which you can take part in or just observe). There will also be a historical presentation on the history of George Washington’s Inauguration. Guests are encouraged to wear either cocktail, black tie or their 18th century best for a time-traveling, one-of-a-kind evening.
