The last historic factory to residential loft conversion in Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood has completed. 168 Plymouth, former site of the Masury and Sons Paintworks Company, has been attentively transformed by Alloy Development’s architecture team. The structure is made up of two iconic building types with modern penthouse additions above. The round arch style, brick and timber building was erected in 1891 and is connected to the Concrete Daylight Factory which was built as an addition in 1921.

Alloy preserved the buildings’ many historic elements while introducing clean and modern interiors, which Rebecca Robertson of RR Interiors used as the backdrop for her vision for a contemporary Brooklyn family’s loft. There are 46 condominiums in total at 168 Plymouth, and you can join Untapped New York for a free virtual tour of the new spaces on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 6:00PM EST.
This live event is organized for Untapped New York Insiders — get two months free with code JOINUS. A video of the talk will also be made available to all our Insiders afterwards in the Video Archive section of our website.
