By now, thanks to the New York Times and MSNBC earlier linking a couple Untapped articles, most of the world knows about the Paris  Dîner en Blanc, the flash mob dinner in white. Well, it looks like there’s going to be a separate “White Pic Nic” in Paris this Sunday. It seems like this endeavor has been going on a for at least three years with a good number of members in the Facebook group. Most of it is similar to the  Dîner en Blanc–dress white, bring fancy table settings, champagne–accept that it starts at 1pm and you receive the location information via Facebook if you reply as attending to the invitation. And there are several each summer which gives some flexibility–one last June was postponed due to unseasonal weather.

We’ve never been but if you have or plan to go this Sunday, let us know how it is! And can someone answer why the French love white so much?
