Join Untapped New York's Chief Experience Officer Justin Rivers for a rare look inside the Hendrick I. Lott House! This virtual tour will take you inside one of the few remaining Dutch-American houses in New York City. The house—which is currently closed to the public—is a living time capsule of New York City’s history and the 283-year legacy of one of Brooklyn’s oldest families. This virtual tour will give you a unique opportunity to explore the rich history and architectural beauty of a 300-year-old historic house, usually hidden from view.
About the Tour Guides:
Alyssa Loorya has a Doctorate in Anthropology and Archaeology from the City University of New York Graduate School. Dr. Loorya is the Principal Investigator and President of Chrysalis Archaeology, specializing in the history and archaeology of New York City and the surrounding area. She currently serves as the President of the Hendrick I. Lott House Preservation Association.
Mary Tsaltas-Ottomanelli Mary Tsaltas-Ottomanelli is currently the Executive Director of the Hendrick I. Lott House. She has over a decade of experience working in historic New York City houses and received a Master's Degree in Public History from New York University.
