Intricate details and vivid colors of the Sistine Chapel’s 34 frescoes have been reproduced with high-definition photographs from Bridgeman Images, the world’s leading source of fine art imagery. Those details are replicated by a special printing technique that illustrates every brushstroke. Finally, the images are displayed on massive canvasses that bring you five times closer than if you saw the works in person.
As you walk through the exhibition with paintings all around you, you’ll notice informational signage that provides context for the visuals you see. Free audio tours with more in-depth insights are available in multiple languages through the Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel App.
