About this Tour:
Honor Irish Heritage Month and St. Patrick’s Day this March by raising a glass at New York City’s Irish pubs! On this one-time, special edition pub crawl you will learn the history of McSorley’s Ale House and Fraunces Tavern (a couple of the oldest establishments in the city), meet famous Irish characters like John Devoy and Johnathan Swift, explore the connection between Prohibition and Irish history, and hear a first-hand perspective on the evolution of the art of NYC bartending from your guide who has 25 years of experience in the business!
Guests have the option to purchase lunch at the final bar, John Devoy’s, where you’ll hear a special presentation on prohibition history inside a private event space.
Please note that drinks and lunch are NOT included in the price of your tour ticket. Bring cash if you wish to purchase a drink at McSorley’s as the bar does not accept credit cards. You will need two subway swipes to get to all of the bars on this tour.

The event is sold out?
In-person tours may have limited capacity and are booked on a first come, first served basis.
But don’t worry! Sometimes spots open up closer to the event date if there are cancellations. We also repeat our most popular events when possible so you will have another opportunity to join us. There are also multiple other members-only events weekly that you can join in!
What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel more than 24 hours ahead of the scheduled event, you will receive a 100% refund. Please be courteous to your fellow Insiders and let us know if you can no longer attend so we can offer your spot to another person.
