The Municipal Art Society is a non-profit organization that brings together NYC’s most progressive urbanists in an effort to create a more livable city, and the 4th annual MAS Urbanists After Dark Party on Wednesday, June 11 will be a celebration of those efforts in a historic, Gilded Age venue on Park Avenue.
MAS Urbanists After Dark Party will take place between 9:00 p.m. and midnight at the landmarked 583 Park Avenue, a recently restored building originally built in 1923. Built by the architecture firm Delano and Aldrich, the space has a grand ballroom, an arcade and beautiful balconies. Untapped Cities is a sponsor of this event and we hope you’ll be joining us there!
Judging by last year’s After Dark Party at historic Grand Central and previous years’ events at the New York Public Library, young urbanists can expect this year’s festivities to be equally raging. The event will begin with the presentation of the 2014 Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal and will be followed by an opportunity for 200+ young urbanists to throw back some cocktails and network with 300+ civic-minded leaders from New York’s design, development, business and philanthropic communities.
There are many special ticket packages available for purchase through the MAS website. A bundle of four tickets can be bought for a date or entourage for $350 (a $50 value) or $850 for ten (a $150 value). Any purchase or pledge of $500+ grants the buyer a prominent listing and employers interested in sponsoring the event can receive two individual tickets plus on-site recognition by buying the $500 Signature Sponsors or receive four individual tickets plus on-site recognition with the $1000 Sustaining Sponsors purchase. Not only is this a rare networking opportunity for those interested in creating a more resilient city, but it also a great excuse to party so don’t miss out!
