Pencil & Photo: Hudson River Fun

Last year my boyfriend and I took a relaxing sunset boat ride through Statue Cruises. Looking back at Manhattan from the water is such an interesting experience. You can’t hear the cars honking or the subway rumbling under your feet or people yelling or funky smells. I took a picture to remember that evening. So on rainy fall days I can look back and remember the warm setting sun and salty wind in my hair and rocking of the boat.

Both the drawing and photo were created and taken by me.   Though I should give credit where credit is due, the idea of mixing a photo with a drawing was borrowed from Belgian artist Ben Heine’s work. Please look him up, he’s an amazing artist.
