The destruction of Admiral’s Row, an abandoned stretch of nineteenth-century houses, and the site’s transformation into a Wegman’s grocery store
A video installation projected onto the new Wegman's at the Brooklyn Navy Yard was created as a memorial to Admiral's Row, which was demolished in 2016 to make way for the grocery store. The art installation served as a reminder of what was lost and as a counter-narrative to the hype surrounding the supermarket's grand opening.
