Hidden along the banks of the Seine West of Paris is a little island with a lovely place called Les Grandes Tables de l'île Seguin.
The Omnivore Group runs the annual Omnivore Food Festival in Deauville, which has featured Ferran Adrià , Alain Ducasse, Pierre Hermé and more and recently began a monthly themed event at Cent Quatre (104) in Paris. Chef Jeremiah Stone, who works for Omnivore, recounts the first Omnivore 104 event for Untapped.
Omnivore chef Jeremiah Stone took me to his favorite bakery in Paris, where you can get the Kouign Aman pastry (Queen Aman, in "American" English) usually only available in Brittany.
