Meet me at the observatory

The weather has chilled, and the jackets have warmed. While enjoying the newly-crisp autumn weather and wandering around the Upper West Side, I spotted this greaser throwback lurking at a crosswalk. The first thing I noticed (with jealousy) was his truly impressive pompadour, but then was drawn to the unusual pattern on his bomber jacket.

At first the striking red seemed very reminiscent of James Dean’s iconic look in Rebel Without a Cause, but the odd leopard-esque pattern makes me suspect that this guy has a cause, and that cause is probably “fashion.” That’s as good a cause as any, I suppose. Architectural hair takes time, dedication, and a wide selection of industrial-strength hair products.
