Pop culture historian Tim English takes viewers on a tour through the Kennedy family's time in New York City, from the little-known spots this iconic American dynasty frequented to some of the most iconic landmarks in the city they called home.
About Tim English
Tim English has published four books: Sounds Like Teen Spirit: Stolen Melodies, Ripped-off Riffs, and the Secret History of Rock and Roll, Popology: The Music of the Era in the Lives of Four Icons of the 1960s, John Lennon: 1980 Playlist, and The Kennedys' New York. His writing has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, and on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM show. He has done well over 1,000 promotional television and radio interviews, including appearances on NPR’s All Things Considered and BBC Radio 2, where he’s appeared over 100 times and he has done TV interviews with WGN Chicago, KRON San Francisco, WNBC-TV New York, Fox News, KTVU San Francisco, and Connecticut Public Television. Since 2021 he has contributed a weekly segment to the “Wake” morning show on WFMU in Jersey City.
