Fans of the video game “Clash of Two Clans” will be excited to hear that on Friday, the Builder “came to life” and created two sculptures in DUMBO! Bringing “his handiwork to the real world,” the Builder made an 18-foot-tall Tesla Tower and a statue of the warrior P.E.K.K.A. These pop-up sculptures at the entrance to Brooklyn Bridge Park will be there until today at 5PM, so if you have some time, head over there ASAP–it’s not everyday that a virtual character comes to life for New York City!

The sculpture of the Tesla Tower contains the defensive storm clouds that fans already know about, as well as twelve USB ports for visitors to charge their phones. The second statue, the part knight, part samurai, and part robot warrior P.E.K.K.A., is made of New York City-themed materials, such as part of a yellow taxi and street cones.

If you’re not familiar with the high-grossing video game Clash of Clans, the Builder is a prominent character responsible for building and rebuilding players’ bases, structures, and weapons. On August 4th, the mobile game development company Supercell announced on Youtube that the Builder was leaving the game to find a new, safer place for his work. To make this cute search even closer to reality, the Builder even looked for careers on LinkedIn and stole the password for the Clash of Clans Instagram account to show fans how his search was going.

In the end, the Builder decided on DUMBO, where people are excitedly visiting to see his creations. The statue is adding so much character to the neighborhood, and we think New Yorkers would agree that the Builder chose the right place!
